They are practiced around the world in the same way while traditional qigong forms can be practiced in over 100 different ways depending on the teaching lineage. 

The Health Qigong forms are based on movements that are not done in our everyday life and are excellent for health. These movements work mainly on stretching the meridians to improve each of the organs, but also our muscles, tendons, general health and well-being.
